NPR's popular weekday showman, and lover of American music, will talk about the arts in our time and in our community and will offer some singing of his own! Side-kick and accompanist will be Steve Metcalf, for more than twenty years music critic for the Hartford Courant and now on the faculty of the Hartt School.

Come singers, one and all, to join members of the Hartford Chorale in an informal, yet musically inspiring, rendering of one of the great choral masterpieces of all time, the Requiem by Maurice DuruflĂȘ. Led by Hartford Chorale Music Director, Richard Coffey,members of the community and of the Chorale will sit and sing intermingled for what promises to be an evening of musical inspiration.
