GMChorale Auditions for New Singers

Auditions for GMChorale's 2017-2018 season will be held at First Congregational Church of Cheshire (111 Church Drive, Cheshire) beginning on Tuesday, August 22.

Auditions for our 2017-2018 season will be held at First Congregational Church of Cheshire (111 Church Drive, Cheshire) on Tuesday, August 22 starting at 5:00 p.m.; Wednesday, August 30 starting at 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, September 2 starting at 10:00 a.m. Auditions will also be held at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cromwell (50 Court St, Cromwell) will be held on Tuesday, September 5 between 4:00–6:30 p.m. Auditions are approximately 20–30 minutes long, and are facilitated and accompanied by Artistic Director, Joseph D’Eugenio. Those auditioning should prepare a piece of music of their own choosing from the classical song repertoire, and bring a copy for the accompanist. Additionally, those auditioning are asked to select and prepare their voice part from three of the five choruses below:
1) Messiah Since by Man
2) Messiah The Lord Gave the Word
3) Messiah And The Glory
4) Hear_My_Prayer
5) Durufle Kyrie

GMChorale is looking for experienced and qualified singers who can learn music independently and within the ensemble, and who can commit to the Chorale’s rehearsal and performance schedule. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7:00–9:30 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cromwell. ACC 2017 Annual Meeting

Evergreen Woods North Branford

All Association of Connecticut Choruses members are invited to attend the 2017 Annual Meeting. Member choruses are encouraged to send one or more representatives.

The meeting will be held on Sunday, August 27th at 2:30 PM in the Reis Room at Evergreen Woods, North Branford, CT.
There will be a social hour with light refreshments starting at 1:30, during which members can choose from ACC's collection of free sheet music and recordings to take home.
